FRST Tuning

Postby Bash on Sun Jan 19, 2003 6:40 pm

Im thinking of getting an RST, possibly in summer, but i have a few questions on them :D

1) - Whats standard BHP on an RST Engine.

2) - What performance gains do you get from these "T2" and "T3" hybrid, turbo thingies and how much are these upgrades and bhp they produce?

3) - How much would a standard RST cost nowadays with average mileage.

4) - What are peoples 0-60 times roughly with various mods or even none at all

Thats all really. Input would be appreciated.

Oh one more - Is the 1800i fezzy good for tuning also?

T2 turbo standard = 133bhp, 0-60 7.9secs
T3 can be fitted from an escort.
Depends what hybrid you get of each model, the trick is to get a balance so you get decent acceleration and reasonable top end. Big is not always getter because you will get too much lag.
Price £3500+ to get one thats gonna last. Alot of the turbo's blow at around 80K I noticed when I was looking for mine. :aviator:
