For the 4th year running, possibly the best non-car related event of the year. Once again we're heading off to Alton Towers for the Scarefest halloween event which features being able to ride in darkness and some awesome Horror Mazes, as well as all the Halloween themeing and atmosphere. This event involves staying on-site and 2-days in the theme park which is open until 9pm. We will be visiting during the week before half-term when the park is extremely quiet, more value for money. Details as follows:

Date: Tuesday 18th - Wednesday 19th October 2011
Time: Tues 11:30am - Weds 9pm onwards!
Hotel: Splash Landings
B&B Price: varies depending on demand, currently £42 each based on 4-sharing but could drop, or go up...
Tickets: A 2-day ticket is £31.68 on top when booked with a hotel package
Car Park:Free to hotel guests, £6 for single day guests

Waterpark (Optional): £15 2-day access when booked with hotel or £15 on the day for 1 session.
Extraordinary Golf (Optional): £6 for 18 holes before 4pm
Boiler House & Carnival of Screams (Optional) £12 combined
