Re: FT Go Ape! - Booked - 30th November.
Myself, Chris 2i, Blade & XRMike will be coming in from the A40 then A418 so not on your route Trecoll. Speak to dontpannic & Mistral as they'll be doing a M25 route no doubt, it's only an hour from you anyway lol.
Shaun, if Jake comes up the A34 we can meet you too but I'm pretty sure he'll go across the M4 instead cos it's a bit quicker.

Shaun/Jake
I can meet you guys in Swindon if you like? Then it's a trip up the A420 to meet the others at the Peartree interchange.
I don't know if that's a quicker route or not - not sure exactly where you're coming from

Re: FT Go Ape! - Booked - 30th November.
I don't think this applies to anyone but thought I'd better post it:
And some technical guff:
Highest point Site 5 Zip Wire Platform = 11.5m (38ft approx.)
Longest Zip Wire Site 4 Zip Wire = 140m (459ft approx.)
Longest crossing Rail Track (site 5) = 20m (66ft approx.)
Number of crossings 39
Q. Are there any age, height or weight restrictions?
A. Minimum age: 10 years
Minimum height: 1.4m / 4 feet 7 inches
Maximum weight: 130kg / 20.5 stone
Note on weight and size restrictions: At Go Ape we operate with Petzl pandion harnesses as we believe they best suit our needs and health and safety requirements. The size of this harness dictates the size of customer that we can safely allow to participate on a Go Ape course. The maximum waist measurement of the harness is 110cm (43 inches) and the leg loops (which go around the top of your thighs) measure 70 cm (27 inches). If your statistics are close to or exceed these figures there is a possibility you may not fit in a harness and therefore will not be able to participate on the Go Ape course. (Waist measurements should be taken above the belly button; males weighing 18+ stone (115 kilos,) and females size 18+ are likely to be in this category). If you have any concerns we advise that you visit a site at a time prior to your booking and speak to a member of the Go Ape staff.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Wear something that you don't mind getting grubby or even slightly damaged – you may want to bring a change of clothing for the journey home. Dress for the weather. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles with good grips. No sandals or slip-off shoes. Ankle supporting boots are best. Some people recommend fingerless gloves. Long hair must be tied back. Body piercings should be removed or taped over and midriffs should not be bare as harnesses may chafe.
Q. Can I bring my camera / camcorder to Go Ape?
A. All cameras or similar items brought to Go Ape by customers must be attached to the customer at all times for the safety of spectators. Go Ape can provide the means to do this if required – please ask the cabin staff. Go Ape reserve the right to refuse a customer to take a camera up on the course if it can not be attached satisfactorily.
Q. Does an instructor accompany participants?
A. An instructor will not accompany participants around the course. However, you will not be permitted to start the course until you have received full instructional safety training from an instructor. Only when you have demonstrated that you are safe to go will you be allowed to continue around the course independently. Staff patrol the course regularly and are on hand to assist should that be necessary.
Q. Can we watch our friend and family Go Ape from the forest floor?
A. Spectators are more than welcome to watch their friends and family as they trek from tree to tree at Go Ape. There is no charge for this.
Q. What happens in bad weather?
A. Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity but is even better when dry! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun for many people! Dress for the weather. You may want to bring a change of clothing for the journey home.

Re: FT Go Ape! - Booked - 30th November.
Trecoll im coming up in dontpannics car so will have to check with him. but looking at google maps its about 5 mins quicker to go the through the dartford tunnel and that way round the m25, so we may go clockwise to meet you as it snot much longer.
just looking theres no services between were you come on to the m25, and to were we come off. so we may just have to time it right then see were each of us are on the motorway. ill chat with nick any way this weekend to arrange it all.

trecoll, thats fine matey You got the name right too
As toby said there's no services between you and the turn off, so if there's somewhere say 10 mins from the m25 on your journey that you can stop, when we're 10 mins away we can call you and let you know to start moving - though I have no idea if that will work Do you know of any other places we can pull over or off of the M25 to meet you?
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&saddr ... 06909&z=17
Is this a shopping center? Say we meet you there? That will be easier - its just off the M4 and nice and easy for us to rejoin the M4 then the M25?

Goodo.
Its a golf club, but we could certainly meet there. Its about 45 minutes from there (according to Google) and seems straight forward enough to rejoin the M4/M25
I'll take a driveby sometime this week to make sure its accessible (no barriers or anything)
