Ade or Al,

Im wondering if it maybe possible to add a trading rating to people on the site who regualy offer parts and services on the site.

This can be regulated by peoples opinions of the goods and or service supplied and geniuen complaints can be acted on by a change in status - indicated in the avitar or sig.

Obviously its not a gaurentte in service, just a guideline.

I think a list of traders would be good, the number of pm's i get saying do you know where i can get this?!!! and ive got one of the most standard cars on the site :lol:

I do think this is a good idea because good honest people wont have a problem with this.

Plus it helps poor unsuspecting peeps from getting ripped off. (and we all know there are 1 or two bad apples....)

The only problem i can see is that either ade or al may not be willing to click the admin only button for "change trader status to"

But as i said its no gaurentte. just there to help a bit

Would these poll ratings enable ppl to vote more than once??

If so, the ratings could be manipulated.

If no, then some ppl may like to vote differently after new contact with the company they previously had bad experience with, and so how would these be reflected on the ratings??

Etc etc.

i see the way your looking at it chum but thats not the way i was thinking it could be run.

If people PM the admin about problems they have with people trading its the admins decisition to alter the rating - we cant do anything about it hence cause trouble! :lol:

As long as the evidence is there (goods not being delivered after payment etc etc) as in PMs, POD, POS etc then i cant see a problem.

Chum you should be the customer relations adimn!

I've not really had a chance to start yet. Got a few new logo comps which I may or may not use.

A whole list of ideas though! Improvments in every area, plus stacks of new features (features as in site functionality, not feature cars or articles).
