Fuel pressure?

Problem or technical question?

Fuel pressure?

Postby Brianscotty on Tue Apr 02, 2013 8:06 am

Hi folks. I have been quitely working away getting the FRST back on the road. I have the engine back in after a full rebuild. When I tried to start her up I noticed that the fuel pump had seen better days. I have since bought a new uprated Walbro pump. I fitted this pump at the weekend & when I tried to start the car I have now found 3 leaks in the fuel system. After a lot of head scratching & un-doing & re-doing various joins I have decided to scrap the original fuel lines, joins, filter & reg to go after market. The only question I have is what is the standard fuel pressure for the Fiesta? I have had a look on previous threads but they are all saying different pressures...
