after many months trying to sell my baby, i have decided that seen as i have new job which is a bit more money that i am going to start over, so i am turning to you lot on here for some guidance or advice on what i could do with my engine and any good companies to get the work done by, also thinking that when the engine is out to get the engine bay painted, or maybe while it is out doin some new body work changes.

so can any one help with ideas of what i could do to the engine and when anywhere i could take it to have the work done in the kent area

What engine does your car have atm? Id say drop a 2.0 in there, and do some work on that engine, say either tb's or maybe a turbo conversion.

Tbh, i would just tidy up the outside of the car, not do loadsa bodykit stuff. If your planning to make this car look pretty tidy, painting the bay is defo a good idea, and best done with engine out and the rest of the stuff removed if possible. What about some interior changes like a re-trim or something?

Just because I keep talking about definetly doing it doesn't mean I'm actualy going to do it.

Really depends on what you want from it and whether you are worried about the originality of the RS1800.

Personally I'd be looking at
Throttle bodies
Stripping
Sensible wheels
Suspension
Brakes

:D

For what I do with a car I want sweet handling so 17's are out of the question on a Fiesta to me. Wasn't a pop 8)

I've had excellent results on an Escort GTi using Piper fast road cams
