full zetec turbo water plumbing, is this right?

Problem or technical question?

full zetec turbo water plumbing, is this right?

Postby ZetecsTurbo on Thu Nov 21, 2013 11:14 am

hi all ive put a 2.0 silvertop turbo into my mk5 zetec s, its been running for a couple of months now and Im just ironing out all the minor problems/issues.
at first I didn't have the heater matrix plumbed in and the temperature used to fluctuate between 90 + 98 degrees, this was a little hot for my liking so I fixed what I thought was casuing this, and plumbed in my heater matrix while doing so.
now the water temp seems to sit at 80 degrees ish (gets to 90 at times when driving enthusiastic, which is fine) but seems to cool down when I have the heaters on sometimes down to as cold as 70 maybe,(I know the heaters will act as a small rad but didn't think it would make such a difference. I don't know how reliable my temp guage is so will be upgrading to a more reliable/well known make.

this is a diagram of my water system, can anyone tell me if this is correct or if theres any alterations I can make to improve it, and whats your opinions?
Many thanks.

I assume that because you are looking at fan wiring, you've replaced the EECV ECU altogether?

On my car I'm leaving that in for security and to run things like the fan.
