G.Max or Koni Adjustables on FRST

Postby DaveRom on Sat Aug 07, 2004 8:48 am

Hi peeps

Just wondering what peoples opinions are on the above.

I need new shockers to replace the crap i have on at the moment. I've got 50mm lowering springs with boge shocks and 16's.

The car could do with raising a little at the front too.

Any help would be appreciated, ideally i'd like coilovers but i can't afford them.

Thanks

I got Koni red (cheapest one) on my Escort.
And they ain't as nice as some others.

So go for Koni yellow if budget allows...

But remember Koni KIT is not very low.
Can you fit the 50mm springs onto Koni shocks?

I think the max they'll take is -35mm/-40mm but i want it higher at the front anyway. The problem will be at the rear. As it is now the rear is ok and i don't really want to raise it.
