G311 EPC - 2.1 ZT - New Jenvey Inlet and 330mm AP's
Re: G311 EPC - 2.1 ZT - Pre Ford Fair freshen up
Yeah I know what you mean mate, catch 22 really - there were plenty of bits I wanted to do still, but also really wanted to get it in the mag asap
Always trying to improve it anyhow so I suspect it will never be totally finished - which really pleases my g/f

Re: G311 EPC - 2.1 ZT - Pre Ford Fair freshen up
Well my package from Jenvey arrived yesterday and what a sweet bit of kit that is. I know it is expensive for all the bits and pieces but it really does look like it's going to be money well spent
Test fit fuel rail and fpr
We shall see how it performs with a rr session next month. They are getting some (chassis-dynamics?) rollers at Devil-Developments next month so we can have a play when they arrive
My new brake master cylinders came yesterday aswell so got them fitted
And finally the brakes, fitted in the rain earlier in the week....hence the rusty effect of the disk
They are a 330mm kit off of a 4x4 sapphire cosworth, so to get them to fit I had to have 5.5mm machined off of the caliper mounting bracket to move the holes further forward and align with the caliper. I also had to fit some 15mm hubcentric spacers with longer studs. Only needed 10mm spacers but nobody makeds them. Et voila!

Might give it a go mate, I've got to get it put together this week, then a bit of mapping.
Never really been arsed to queue for the 0-60 at ford fair looks like it takes ages and normally quite warm too.

Cheers mate, its taken me a lot of scraped knuckles and saving to get to the point its at now, I'm over the moon with it at the moment
Couple of pics I took after Ford Fair...
Need to clean the arch liners and tidy the breather up but apart from that
Not sure if it needs something in front of the oil cooler like a scoop or something? What do u reckon?

I think the oil cooler there gets more than enough air through it without a scoop. Maybe some channels though to stop air going round it and only through it.

yeah i know that it gets plenty of air right there, I was thinking more of trying to finish/tidy it up. It kind of looks like it should have something in front of it to finish it off to me.
