G311 EPC - 2.1 ZT - New Jenvey Inlet and 330mm AP's
Re: My Fiesta ZT - Quaife'd up to my eyeballs!
We will have to go down there for a photoshoot one day when the suns out. I actually went down there to see if there was any racing on and to get a noise level test for my car as I want to do a few top speed/trtack days in it this year, once I get a cage in it!

Re: My Fiesta ZT - Quaife'd up to my eyeballs!
Cheers mate, had a small hitch when I tried to launch a bit hard (5th to 3rd) while racing my mate in his escos. The engine moved a bit too much and the throttle cable got snagged on the brake bar!! Quick pit stop and we were on our way again. I think some vibratechnics mounts need to be purchased.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, really makes all the expense and hard work worth it

with that ZT i'm not suprised, i bet it drinks fuel like its going out of fasion. its been 2 or 3 years since that car went away for the LET engine, would be good to see it out and about killing all the ricers again

Re: My Fiesta ZT - Quaife'd up to my eyeballs!
Yeah it is quite juicy but i'm just too busy to get out much in the evenings. I use it as my daily drive so it gets plenty of use
If you believe what Louis says that Nova is the fastest thing on the road I hope it gets it going soon though for his sake he has worked his nuts off doing it. If you look on the devil-developments website (link below my sig) there's some pics of it on there with the worlds biggest intercooler!!!
Yeah I'm going to Ford Fair - hopefully gonna get some more bits done to the Fiesta by then e.g more boost, anti-lag & coilovers. Will be a proper weapon then.

Re: My Fiesta ZT - Long time no speaky!!
Well it's been a long time since I've updated so I'll try to fill you in on what's been happening with my car....in case anybody is interested!?
Since the last posts I have:
Fitted a GRS intercooler
Fitted an oil cooler
Changed the exhaust manifold
Re-fabricated the exhaust downpipe
Fitted a small turbo escos throttle body
Changed the exhaust cam to that of a frs
Fitted a second rear arb
Fitted some new wheels - 7"x16" Comp MO6's with 195/40/16 Toyo Proxes
Fitted escort cosworth clocks - 170mph reading
Fitted carbon battery and plug covers
Fitted an MSD coil pack and new leads
Had the car mopped
We went to Surrey Rolling Road last August and made 346bhp @ 25psi - but while at SRR we knew something wasn't right Upon inspection back at the workshop we found pieces of ally(intercooler?) embedded into the pistons and 4 bent valves. So it has had a new set of pistons and valves.
A couple of pictures for you....
I've got loads more pics so let me know if you want to see anthing in particular.

346bhp, that's really good going for the spec
I take it that's a "silver-top" Zetec you have fitted? How did you get a FRS Exhaust cam (Black-Top Zetec) to fit the Silver-Top head? I thought the two types of cams weren't interchangeable between the Black & Silver Top heads
Fair play to you though - it's producing the goods!

Thanks mate, but what do you mean for the spec? You make it sound like it should only make 200bhp
I thought it was quite a well spec'd build - how could I improve the spec? I know you have a great knowledge and I'm very impressed by your duratec build. Obviously I want to improve my engine wherever I can
I'm sure I was told that they are the FRS cams but if they don't fit then they most probably aren't!! I will speak to my engine builder to confirm

Re: My Fiesta ZT - Long time no speaky!!!
Cheers guys, the Comp's are 7x16's with 195/40 and the Azeva's ae 7.5x16 running 205/40's so they filled the arches that little bit more.
I really wasn't sure when I first put the Comp's on but I am now in love (I'm still keeping the Azev's for a while - you can never get bored of Azev's!!)
I think the car is currently the best it has been since I've owned it and it's come a long way from the battered XR2i it was when I picked it up. It was so bad I don't think I actually took any pictures!!
