i seem to remember reading somewhere ages ago that you could use a puma gear selector as a cheap way to have a shorter shift...

iv looked at the underneath of one and it looks nion identical... anyone heard of this?

It can be done, there is a guide somewhere. Either that or sport ka one will work. Both are a straight forward swap from what i remember. Give the forum a quick search and you will find all the info you need!
