Gearbox Swapping

OK, looks like my 'ox is about to F-up on me, so I was considering putting in one from an XR2i. What will happen if I do this and will it be a straight swap ?

It is a Ford Fiesta 1.1 HCS.

And the differential bearings are about to die on me therefore instead of getting another gearbox from Ford, I have the chance of getting an XR2i engine and gearbox for £30 and I was considering puting the gearbox in if it was a straight swap.

I couldn't afford the insurance for the engine so I can't put that in. Not just now anyway.
