A friend of my has a question ???

What is different between the gearbox from a fiesta rs turbo and a escort rs turboII, except for the LSD !!! , and is it usefull to fit a escort rs turboII gearbox in place of the original fiesta rs turbo gearbox ??? Or can he better fit the LSD in his fiesta box ???

So it's all about the "transmissions" !!!

His fiesta turbo has a magnex exhaust system, a 57i induction kit, a fast road sports kentcam and a 165 superchip.

ANSWER = S2 ESRT Gearbox apart from LSD NOTHING!
Do it with LSD!

Do you have any idea what 178.8mph feels like in a Fiesta? 2000 lb of pressure per square inch per second pushing back on your face. It feels like god himself is trying to rip the skin off your skull while someone lands a 747 on your chest.

And fiesta gearbox has shorter ratios.
(5th gear I'm sure, the rest not so sure)

Get a Series 2 gearbox with the LSD,
The best mod i've done on my FRST!!

Depends on what you want the car set up for. The fiesta gear box is definetly a closer ratio so if your wanting it for take off and bends its your man
