Gearboxes

Hi, Does anyone know if a Frst gearbox will fit a xr2i 16v engine?. Also would it make any difference perfomance wise over the standard xr box?, because I'm after a way of getting some extra torque without speanding loads of money. :D

Thanks :)

Cheers guys. I'm going for a 1.3 5 speed box now, because a mate of mine has one on his Escort, and the ratios are different on them compaired to the 1.8 16v box, I'll give it a go and see if I blow it up. :D
