GeForce FX5600 BRAND NEW

Postby ChrisW on Wed Jan 28, 2004 1:13 pm

Mate of mine has just bought an NVidia GeForce FX5600 256MB card without realising his PC doesn't have an AGP slot. It's therefore brand spanking new, still boxed, never fitted.

http://www.nvidia.com/page/fx_5600.html

Cost him £150. Best offer gets it! PM me and I'll pass messages on.

He knows nothing about computers and bought the cheapest Dell he could find. It's got on board graphics, hence no AGP :(

Havn't seen it going (for obvious reasons) so I can't comment on how good it is. The specifications look very impressive tho. It would kick the ass of my old ATi Radeon but I don't play enough games to be worth shelling out for it really.

Ouch! With your new mota your not likely to have the cash floating around to buy anything like that again lol

The one I sold you was the standard 5600 wasn't it? The ultra is noticably better, even when my 5600 ultra is a budget card from Dabsvalue! If your on a budget I'd definately recommend it. :)

u mite of seen it comp fair but there all types of company who make these cards some with better quality design, memory or architecture.
best thing 2 do is 2 name the company who made it find it on the net like http://www.overclockers.co.uk and give him a offer. The card is good but not as good as the radeon 9600pro which retails at £120ish iid say £80/90 4 this card
