Re: German Fiesta 16V
As long as the carpet is outside the car, i've ordered a new pair of cinch-cables to replace the old one's.
A coworker also gave me a hint for this hose, which i need for my dashboard to fit:
Then i fitted the carbon-covers to the doorcards:
fitted them yesterday with some new clips:
the i removed the tweeters from the inner mirror panel und filled the holes. Then i covered the parts an all the pillar-covers with a black velourfilm:
next week i have to fit seats, carpet and do some wiring on the dashboard. On April 1st the fez should be back on the road

Completed my interior the last days, Here some pictures from our club stand at the local auto-show:
i fitted a flocked mk4-dash and the heigo alloy rollbar which i had bought a few years ago.
the next work is prepare the fez for the TÜV, but i think this will be no prob

Re: German Fiesta 16V
i know this has been argued over before on this forum but that stretch in my opinion is just dangerous
How on earth does the tyre bead not come away from the rim when you take sharp corners ?
the car cant feel good going round corners with no tyre roll.
on another note ... i like the unique look of your car. Did you chop the bonnet lip to fit that grill ?
Also the accessory Rs bumpers in that mini cooper colour go really well.
Some silver compomotive wheels would suit this car alot better than them cossie wheels. Ive always thought them cossie wheels are nice to look at but horrible to drive and use daily.

Re: German Fiesta 16V
I agree this is not suitable for a daily driven car, but my fez only comes out on sunny sundays or for shows, i only drive about 2500km a year.
The tyre stretch is approved by the tyre manufacturer and the german Tüv which is very strictly in this things, so i have no fear the tyre will come off the rim.
I chop the bonnet to get an unique front, because the most bad boy bonnets on german shows look the same. As an additional feature, the rad gets more air. The grill on the pictures above is only a "last resort" as i'm working on a cosworth grill to be fitted.
I like compos too, but it's quite hard to get them road legal in germany.
Flo

Re: German Fiesta 16V
A few weeks ago, i drove with a mate to erding to redeem our birthday voucher: driving an us-truck for about a hour on country roads near munich.
Here's a pic of our little truck:
on the way back home we collected the eku seats i've bought cheap on ebay a few days earlier. At home i fitted them immediately:

Fitted my UK-spec rear light yesterday, looks perfect. For the reverse-light i'll use an led-unit in the rear bumper.
