getting the rs ready for the road
Hey fokes after buying JIM i was giving him a once over for his mot and the more i dug the more I found and not in a good way. I know rust is natures way of saving weight but JIm is taking the piss. so i'm going to stick some pics his road to recovery.
this what I've had to cut out the drivers side
I've already started doing a bit of welding
I Also didn't like his wheels but Instead of buying new ones i went for painting Them

Thats a fair sized hole you have there, not a huge fan of the wheels but they are a lot better now than they were, good job, even a little bit of paint can make some crap wheels look good
still need to update this sig

Good luck with the project!
I would have put some fillter in the momocorse logos on the wheels, would have looked even smarter than they do now

getting the rs ready for the road
Is it just me or has it happened to anyone else. Been working on the FRST for a few months now and I've hit the wall. It just seems to be never ending. The more I fix the more stuff I find that needs fixed. :0(
Any one got any tips on how to push on its almost starting to get me down :0( I just want my wee car on the road but no motivation to finish it.
Think I need a kick up the arse
HELP!

I Found this with my 2i had it for a few years now and still not got it on the road yet Still loads to do but id rather do it all than skimp on the job and have to do it all again a few months after it being on the road
Also I agree that the wheels went from horrible to nice just with a lick of paint. Got any more pics to upload of progress?

Hey guys the RS has been put on hold over Christmas but I'll be back at it on Saturday.
Just got the passenger side to weld up then wax oil the lot, new fuel lines and new hand break cable then just get it put back together. Need to get it all done as I want it at the rolling road day I'm organising. I'll get some more pictures soon
