My research has led me to believe that FRST management is the cheapest option and works perfectly well with a remap as cossie management ends up being just as expensive as aftermarket stuff (omex, megasquirt, etc.) and doesn't work as well due to lack of features.

I'm going to be using FRST management (0FAB... I think) depending on how much a remap will cost, otherwise I'll probably use megasquirt. :)

Megasquirts might be the best bet if you want to try and do some mapping yourself.

Just because I keep talking about definetly doing it doesn't mean I'm actualy going to do it.

If I were to do it all again and had the choice and foresight, I would've bought an aftermarket ECU around the £500-£600 pound mark and had it mapped, it wouldn't have worked out all that much more expensively.

Mate runs Autroinic and I'm so swayed by its capabilities I'm ordering an SM4 with my bonus cheque.

Have to be honest mate I taxed it for the Fast Ford thing. Drove it there and back and took it to work to scare the crap out of one of my work mates and it then sat in my garage until the tax ran out :oooh:

Planning on a management swap this year although the missus desire for a new kitchen might put the brakes on that plan. Still can't beleive I've ended up this domesticated
