Green Induction Kit

Just fitted my new induction kit to my RS1800, and it seems really quiet. Will it get louder? My old Green kit on my Mk4 Fez use to sound really throaty, but there isnt any change in sound on this one. Does the ECU need to remap itself to cope with the increase in air, before I notice any noise difference
