Grey Fiesta RS turbo.
For sale is my Fiesta, only had it around 5 months and after abit of work it's been as good as gold. Only reason for selling is I've got another car and the with the otherhalfs new car there not enough room on the drive(stored at my parents atm), shame really as I really enjoy driving it and is great fun.
When I first got it I spent £300 on it to get it past the mot and since then another £1000 if not more doing little jobs. It's not mint by any means but is in good useable condition. I've been using it everyday to do around 30 miles and never broke down, I worked out it doing 28 mpg which I think is great for an old RST.
I had the turbo rebuilt by CR Turbos (360) which is still under warranty for around 9 month, come with paper work. The engine was rebuilt by Specialised engine ltd back in 2010 with low comp pistons, arp bolt and a full balance this was 17k ago and is still pulling strong.
The only problems with the engine are a few little oil leaks, valve guild seals I believe due to the smell of oil at first start, it's fine for the rest of the day after that and for about 2 second again upon first start in the morning 1 lifter is tappy.
It drives, steers and brakes fine, is a little bit hard over bumps but I think thats just me getting older. There are the normal rattles and squeeks for a car this age but nothing you don't get use to after a while.
The body work is ok, few bits of rust bubble showing, the front bumper needs a repaint and the bonnet has a couple of dent due to the engine mount in the past. I have taken the stripes off due to the ones on the door were wasted, i've keeped the front and back panels but the doors went in the bin. While taking them off it pulled some paint of on the back panel as shown in the photo.
The Fiesta is moted for 8-9 months and tax for a couple as well so can be driven away. I'm wanting £2000 for the car I may px or even swap for something as my brother is looking for another car to use, i'm not to bothered if it does sell as it will sit in the parents garage till i've got time and money to restore her to be a weekend or track car but thats along way off.
Thanks Mark.
Just to add a few parts I missed out. Engine has a full hose set, piper cross air filter, adj cam pully, alloy rad, full SS, bigger intercooler and a 165 chip.
Inside the seats are in very good condition aswell as the steering wheel, theres a boost and water gauge which are wired up. The door cards have holes in them where some plank put some mini speakers in it and the A piller is missing from the drivers side but I should be sourcing one next week. It comes with a kenwood tape play with a working disc changer in the boot.
I've replace all the bearings. Brakes have just been done with new ebc disc up front with green stuff pads and the rear has had new shoe's also has braided brake alround.
The front suspension has had new lower arms, drop links, track rod end, 2 cv joints+4 new boots and antiroll bar bushes.
The gearbox has got uprated mounts fitted and with look any uprated bushes you can feel it. All tyres are ok but the front have got a little wear on the inside.
The car comes with a big folder of invoices and receipt for work done to the car including the work I have done since owning it, also there are alot of old mots and a few old tax disc to go with the history.
I had the car setup and a couple of power runs at 160bhp/188ftlb at 11psi and it does drive well. I was told the turbo can be used at 16psi but I should really get a bigger intercooler, for me it's fine the way it is set at 11psi as I sit in traffic quite alot round where I live.
If you want anymore details pm me.
