Guide to Zetec 2.0 Conversion

Postby wywywywy on Sun Dec 21, 2003 3:19 am

Hi all,

I was just browsing around last night, and visited a very useful website that I haven't visited for over 2 months, ZetecInside.com.
As most of you probably know, this is THE GUIDE for Zetec conversion for MK1 Fiestas, proven by its step-by-step conversion guide, http://www.zetecinside.com/xr2/stepbystep.htm

Also for MK2 owners, this http://www.quantums.info/zetecinMk2.htm is the thorough insight of the conversion.

However, why is there no such step-by-step guide for the most popular Fiesta, the MK3, at all?

Well there is the very nice Project ST website http://st2000.s5.com outlining the basic requirements for the engine conversion, and then Mark Stewarts created a very informative website http://www.fiestaprojects.com discussing the installation.

So, anybody up for a challenge creating/comprehending a complete guide like http://www.zetecinside.com/xr2/stepbystep.htm for all MK3 models? Pics are mandatory :p

Basically it'd need:
- detailed requirements (parts) for all models
- modifications required to be done to the parts
- the actual installation

Thanks.
