H708 FBG - Fiesta RS Turbo
Well I thought it was time to upgrade from the XR2i 16v to an RS Turbo, spent nearly 6+ months searching for a good one (so many dodgy ones out there),
I'm sure a few people on here will recognise the car, although its looking abit different now.
Anyway, I'll let the pictures do the talking..
Sorry for the poor quality, was getting dark fast so had to turn the ISO up.
My plans are to get a new set of boost hoses made up, by a local company that make custom silicone hoses, in either black or blue.
Then the next thing to do is waxoyl the underneath, arches, inside the rear quarters etc sometime this week, just need to get the waxoyl kit first.

Me too! I just need to save up for the wheels and cage now.

I think I will waxoyl the underneath to keep it factory looking as its so clean. Should hopefully get that done within the next week or so, then it will be put away in the garage for winter.

James' old motor, very nice example.
I personally would put it back the other way to standard looking on the outside

Re: H708 FBG - Fiesta RS Turbo
Small update, a package arrived today in the post..
Was just lots of shredded paper..
Oh wait, what's that in there?
A clear cambelt cover
Haven't got round to fitting it just yet, need the rubber seal from a standard cover and the 2 m6x80mm bolts.
So will be taking a trip to Ford tomorrow to order some more bits.

Re: H708 FBG - Fiesta RS Turbo (Update 04/12/09)
Just a small update,
The alarm/immobiliser loom and module has now been fitted properly, it was just laying in the passenger footwell when I bought the car and the wiring was a complete mess.
I got the RS out of the garage this morning to fit a few new bits..
I sent my Oil temp/pressure gauge back to SPA to have a new backlight fitted, as it had stopped working.
Really helpful people at SPA and a speedy service, I sent the gauge to them on Monday and it arrived this morning in the post.
So I now have two working backlights, which looks soo much nicer.
I also bought a set of Euro RS lights, so fitted them today..
Then I put her back in the garage..

I think there around £200 at the moment if you buy direct from SPA, but you should be able to find them cheaper than that!

Haha, its as small as I can go and still be legal.
I will put the smaller one back on in a few weeks, just don't want to get another £60 fine.

Comp TH wheels and a white OMP cage are next on my list.
