Handling: Difference between FRST and lower models...
Compaired to the XR2i what parts are different on the suspension/steering on the FRST?
Im thinking Its lower arms, hubs, crossmember, ARB and steering rack
Also, does the 1.6S use the same parts as the 2i?
cheers

FRST uses a thicker ARB font and rear.
hubs seem the same
steering rack has shorter lock to lock and you will need to match a FRST wih the lower arms as the rack has longer arms on it

Do you know what the differences are between the FRST lower arms and steering rack compared to the XR2i?? Can a pair of XR2i lower arms be fitted to a FRST without needing the steering rack to be altered/changed?
Thanks
Matt

I've tried to fit the full front subframe and suspension (FRST lower arms , shocks, hubs AND steering rack) to a 92 1.8i S (105BHP) but .. then my camber was ALL out.. the car looked like the front suspension all gave up
All measurements (suspension top-top) (subframe) are the same..
the only difference i found is the lower arm length of the FRST being longer.. and the steering rack beïng longer.
But the steering rack isn't responsible for Camber i guess.
does anyone have an answer to that ??
