Would it be pretty much the same as swapping to a 1.8 2ltr zetec?

Ive searched but cant find anything :x

yes but when you put your foot down it'll still be like your driving the HCS
in terms of performance

yeah, get a 1.6 8v xr2i engine. 110bhp standard i think, the si is only 90bhp.

If you go the zetec route don't bother with the 1.6. If it an insurance matter you are worrying about the dont as I have found the 1.8 was the same price as a 1.6 conversion and the 2.0 is not much more. It quite an easy conversion really and well worth the effort.
