HCS or CVH !?

HCS or CVH !?

i woz told on this board last week that my engine woz definately a CVH , but having seen sum pics of a HCS system in the haynes manual i think it could be a HCS ! Can anyone tell me a way of telling which one it is for sure ! also my cars an N reg 1.1 fiesta mk3.5 if that helps !? i need 2 know b'[ERRR] if its a CVH then i want 2 fit a K&N ! :aviator:

ur engine is definatly an HCS.

u cant buy mk3 1.1 festas with a CVH. i think the mk2's had em in.

To the very best of my knowledge all 1.1 mk3`s are HCS and because urs is a mk3.5 like mine it is a CFI (Central Fuel Injection) :D

ah ok cheers guys , yea mine is a mk3.5 so it would be a cfi so can i fit a k&n

yes u can fit a k&n Bolt on filter there are a couple of differing ones of different not sure which one u want. but it will make an amazing sound differnce even to a papy little 1.1 :D

I ended up getting the Pipercross bolt-on filter for mine as the K&N filter did not fit correctly.
