Head questions

Postby andyleesy on Fri Mar 23, 2007 2:05 pm

these might be fairly random and kinda 'different' questions but here goes :-

i sold up everything for 2.0 conversion due to lack of space/time & money (insurance wanted alot more than i expected?)

but i need more power because it's sooo slow
firstly would a bigger head fit on my bottom end - such as the rs 1800 head or xr2i 16v head...
or (the rather more extravagent) would a Zetec-s head fit on my 1.6 zetec bottem end (eliminating the tiny valves problem), or would the CVH head fit on my bottem end which i'd eventually make a zvh for cheap power sake...
need more power with something simple like a head swap - i have no big storage and heads aren't that big to be honest....
anyway let me know, might not be a good idea
cheers all

Sorry fella but in short you are stuck with what you have. The 1.6 Zetec found in the Si is crap from a tuning point of view. The only sensible option is engine swap or simply change the car for a quicker one.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

^^^ This man knows ^^^

Your stuck doooooooode. The money you'd spent trying to get more power would easily pay the extra insurance needed for the 2.0 conversion.
