Cheers Tom People were gradually finding out one by one, either through my lack of secret-leeping skills or by my questions about Zetec Turbo stuff!

I think converting the car from diesel to Petrol's enough for now thanks Grant....converting a petrol to run off diesel in a few years' time perhaps

Brycey - I would've loved to experiment more, but I miss driving it so much, and I'm starting to save for a newer car so couldn't spend thousands on a newer engine and fiddling to get it to work. I also wanted bigger power, and petrol sounds so much better than diesel. It may have been the easy way out, but I wanted to achieve my goal before it was too late. 200bhp Fiesta was my goal, hence all the stuff you see in the picture above!
1.8 Zetec Turbo
Full Mongoose system with 3.5 inch inwardly rolled backbox
AP Racing 4 paddle clutch
Mocal 13 row oil cooler
ST150 brakes
CTS Stage 1 or 2 (can't remember!) gearbox
The steering wheel makes it faster too
Like I say, everyone was starting to find out so thought I might as well tell everyone and put pics up

Stoned - OIL cooler, not INTERcooler You Sunny boys know nothing!
Rich - I didn't build it. That was my plan, but this came up for sale just as I began to source parts, and I collected it yesterday

Errr - how can you not tell if it's a stage 1 or stage 2 box?
Surely you should have checked before buying? If it's a stage 2 it'll have a Quaife ATB diff in it btw - the stage 1 is the same except for an uprated plate LSD from an ERST.
Cheers,
Andy

andy - In that case it's probably a Stage 1. I couldn't remember which stage took it to what spec, but it has been rebuilt and has the larger main bearing....all in cost around £1,000 from Bernie when the original owner got it, so I thought Stage 2....

If it cost a grand then it'll be stage 2 as that's how much mine cost from CTS.
Good stuff btw - just you better hope it's not ready before mine! (although it probably will be).
Cheers,
Andy

No, it won't be. I'll have to do everything bar fitting the engine on my own (may even have to do that alone!!) and it's gonna be COLD!!! It won't beat yours Andy, can guarantee it!

Ains - It's a secret!
For those who don't know, Ainsley bought a black FRST to do up, and has just been surveying the site without really posting. He did me the enormous favour of collecting the gearbox from down in Lincolnshire and bringing it allllllll the way up to Preston for me Had never met him, just shows there are plenty of good people out there. Not everyone's like andyhardy!
