firstly sorry to ask probably same old question but how much can i lower my 1.1 by its got 195/50 15s witch i can afford to change just yet!so how much can i lower by wit just a spring upgrade?if scrubbing is involved is it just on the rst arch lip??plz help cos it making my car look wrong!

secondly i hate my brakes, trying to keep up wit my mates xr2i is never gonna be easy but need just some better pads maybee discs at the minute wot should i go for!no money for brake conversion if wot u will suggest? many thanks :bonkers:

erm 45mm drop is [ERRR] ive got and i have same tyres sizes as u
mine does scrape on full lock aswell

just get some xr2i / rsturbo brakes from off here, i'm sure someone will have some. pads are easy enough to come by, either original ford ones or maybe ebc greenstuff pads.

but mind you don't kill yourself trying to keep up with your mates xr2 with your 1.1, not recommended !

the xr2i pads wont make tht much difference

the xr2i pads wont make tht much difference


in conjunction with rs turbo discs then yes, better than standard 1.1 system.

and ebc pads would be decent, do a search to see what other people have got.

Wait untill the 50's need changing then get some 45's on there and then slam it! save money in the mean time! :D

I've got a set of turbo brakes you can have for £30 mate. Discs are excellent and pads are 50%.
