I have no experience with electrics.

Have got a Mk3.5 with c/l already. You can also lock all the doors from the passenger's side (I think this makes a difference with some systems).

Can anyone help. I would like to try and fit it this weekend. What's the best method for splicing/linking the new wires to the old? Are there connectors you can buy?

I assume the red must go to permanent live, which wire would that be?
Do browns go to 'parking lamp' or indicator lamp? Which wire would that be?
Does the pink go to the horn?
Do I use the top of the smallest diagrams to link into c/l system? If so how do I identify the Down, Up and Common lines?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Come on guys I need help here. Looking at AW3K's guide the c/l motor only has 4 cables going to it. My diagram shows 2 motor line cables and a down, up and common. Can anyone tell me which is which?
