Presume you've installed the fuel injection tank ??

If so you need to fabricate the wiring from the fuel pump relay to the pump in tank.

Alternatively use an external pump (Sierra / Scorpio), and wire to that

u need a swirl pot as the RS turbo engine is injection, the swirl pot maintains an amount of fuel and prevents air in the fuel system which could starve the engine.

Check out my site,

http://www.rsbible.co.uk

I modified an XR2, this used EFi, you can buy fuel tanks for the Mk2 fiesta with a swirl pot already fitted. They are readily available, as they were fitted to European market fiestas.

I think the fiesta centre in norwich sell the tank that you need, they advertise in most magazines and im sure they have a web site aswel. I tryed this conversion a few years back but got a bit lost when it came to the wireing so gave up and just bought a rs turbo. Good luck anyway.

cheers chris :)

Ive heard mixed reviews about the fuel tank the Fiesta Centre sell. Off the top of my head, i cant remember the website address, but its a chappie who put a Zetec in a Quantum kit car, and he wasn't a happy bunny with the tank. YOu can find his site through Graham B's Zetec Inside. Both sites are well worth reading over and over again :)

Yes it would be fine to use an alloy fuel tank and external pump/swirl pot. Just the same way it is done in most rally and race cars.

cheers chris :)
