Help! Inner CV removal from gearbox

I am changing a drive shaft on drivers side on my lsd ib5 gearboxed frst taken shaft its self out, but inner cv has poped out of spline cup. Now i cant get it out of gear box it is soldly wedged in there i have tried banging out leavering out etc but no joy and really bugging me now! Any body got any ideas?

Levering out normally does trick, they can be ridiculously tight (and others I've pulled out with a good solid tug by hand!).
Nothing to see here...

Yeah i have done plenty of them in the past. Normally find they leaver straight out with little effort if it dosnt just pull out by hand but this one is a bast**d. Never known anything like it. I guess i just have to carry on and it will budge at some point!

You've probably already tried it but I used a fat chisel behind the "cup" and smacked it with a lump hammer, as for the other one, I used the chisel as a lever since you can't get in behind it, then again whacked the chisel. Popped eventually!

I've used a 3ft crow bar on one side with a serious amount of effort involved.

Normally use a crow bar, and out they pop

have you left it in gear ,that wouldnt help lol can u not just split it from the boot
and like everyone else sometimes they pop no problem other times its the old hammer n chisel
