HELP ME!

Alright lads
I'm a poor starving student who has just got his grubby mitts on a 1.1 mk3. I've already chucked some clear indicators on it and was wondering where to go next.
I've been able to get a price of about £500 for 15's, a new back box and 40mm drop springs. This sounds bloody amazing to me, except the wheels are Fox ones (anyone got a preference in style - i like the 3's or 5 evo's best). Probably end up going for it anyway!
I know they're old and everyone's got em, but i really like the m3 mirrors too. Also after a mondy spoiler, but i haven't got a 2i/rst one on there at the moment. Could be £££££££
I'm also looking for suggestions for things to do. I'm not earning that much so a one-off bodykit or a complete retrim is out of the question. I don't want to go down the "18 year old nova driver"-esque route of having a shiny gearknob as the centerpiece of my motor (sorry to all you young nova drivers out there maybe it's just me)
Any suggestions would be gratefully received,
Cheers
Marty

Hello mate where abouts r u in Bournemouth, I go to uni down there (well, I carry on next year - on placement).
Get rid of the strips down the side.
Get rid of the tube which goes into the air box, replace with a wider air ducting (from halfords etc)
Get down Trents for a 92 - 94 spec interior (goes straight in and looks much better [ERRR] it's all dark as opposed to light grey) - only £60 for the whole lot, including dash!!!
Loads of cheap stuff to do.
Check my site for what I did to mine:
