help!! mk3 suspension

will my mk3 coilovers fit on a mk1??

i have been informed that they will fit onto a mk2 if you swap the top bit over?! any info?

i'm more interested in mk1 fitting tho? any ideas

No - the rears are different (Mk3 uses MacPherson struts - Mk1 uses separate springs to the best of my knowledge).

shocks from a mk3 dont even fit mk3.5 hubs so i doubt it, but hey anythgs possile, why not sell what u got and get proper mk1 ones?
