Help needed on 1.8 ZVH

Postby AshleySi on Fri Aug 07, 2009 2:26 pm

ok after long time in the coming i finally sorted the bodywork and now its ready for a new engine, at the minute i have a Fiesta si 1.6, and have decided that i want to create a 1.8 ZVH, but this is where my knowlege runs out on this, i was wondering can any one give me a list of the correct parts i will need to get so i can get this engine built, Dont worry have a mechanic standing by to build it.

Also has anyone done this kind of upgrade with this bottom end, if so what power was it running at ?, now the ecu i was hoping to run was the RST as i heard you can run the cosworth to get a major power hike, but at the moment i just want enough power to enjoy for a while, and yes i have tried to look for it on google but the only thing i can really find use the 2.0 as a bottom end, so was looking for someone with experience of using on to give me a list, Thanks in advance Ash

Loads of info on the forums if you search for it, good place to start also is http://www.quantums.info/zvh.htm

I've got an 1800zvh running on RST ecu with msd chip and beige injectors. Can't tell you much about the build as it was bought from area six.
