Postby adam_frst on Sat Jan 06, 2007 2:21 pm

right i bought a spax vsx for my mk3.5 fista, backs are on fine, slightly confused about the fronts, the springs that came with the shock wont fit in the cup properly, slightly over hans on one side, this isnt right surely? looks as though the spring would slide out, have they given me the wrong springs? theyhave gota number on them but im having difficulty finding anywhere that tells what number are what springs, the number on the springs is S011023

i'd compare when you take off, i've had experiences with spax before with their kits, which have made me steer clear since.

i'm talking more about probs with kits from the box... wrong bits, missing pieces, and dont drive over any potholes as the shock bodies are extremely weak

other than that they perform ok.

They might have given you the kit for the mark 3 Not the mark 3.5!

the springs will FIT all mk3s and 3.5s the difference is in the bottom of the strut diameter so if there were mk3 suspension they would just be loose in the hubs but they would work
