my amp keeps blowing its inline fuse near the battery, gone through 3 of them now :x whats do you recon is up with it? ive checked the connections and all is well, so what could it be??

Is the fuse of the the correct rating?

yea all were F80A fuses, the amp was fine yestuday, and has been fine and was using the same fuse for 3yrs, and its popped 3 in 2days, ask HCS PIMP, put it on the other night for him, and was fine :-? turned the amp down again after that

damaged cable, buggered amp internals, dodgy earth (check battery to chassis earth too). try a different amp to see if that changes things. and remove the power line and see if there is any chafing/damage.

I went through two fuses in two days last week.

My problem seemed to be the ground. It had come loose from the lug on bodywork. Put a new lug on there and its been ok since.

Check the ground to ensure you have a good connection either end.

ok, the amp has stoped blowing fuses now, and the green light stays on, on the amp :D but 1 problem, the subs dont make any noise :( dunno what it, is, checked all the wiring and all is A OK, would my subs have blown??
