I have a buget of £200-250 for a good stereo. Whats the best buy for that price.

Options please?

I havent got a clue on whats hot and what not!

alpine CDA 9847R is the dogs danglies. i got mine about a year ago for £200 (now being sold for £100 in places) but it is a quality HU. its got 4x40/50watt built in amp 1 x woofer, 1 x rear and 1x front RCA outputs.

I am stearing towards a alpine unit but they all look the same wether you spend £80 or £300 :(

yea the 9847R costs an extra £100 or summit if u wanned the ipod adapter lol :-?
its a good stereo though IMO

i got the alpine cda 9812 rb, it is 4x60watts, 3 pre outs and is al singing all dancing, normally costs around the 300-400quid mark but i found mine brand new 220quid best advice i can give you is shop about mate take a bit of time

Im not getting it from halfrauds though. My mate can get 50% discount through his work on alpine, kenwood, JVC and pioneer head units so he'll be ordering my new snazzy head unit :Q

The reason i picked 2 expensive ones were because i plan to get that half price!!! So the plan is to pick a good one for about £300 and get it for half that! :D
