well my 2L tb has the clip facing the other way, then i had to change the mech over from the 1.6 tb i had over to my 2l one as the mech for the 2l was plastic, and didnt fit properly!

in that photo the TB looks like a 1.6 one but it may just be the photo!

this might not help too much, but...

a 2l mondeo TB has a larger butterfly valve than that, (i.e. the inlet doesnt narrow on mine),
you can also keep the plastic mech bit rather than swap the 1.6l one over, just mod it slightly (cut little useless nobbly bit off from the rhs :oooh: ) and check it doesnt obstruct hoses behind it. I found it had a much stronger spring than the 1.6l TB

i made my own throttle cable mounting bracket, i've got a pic but need to get it developed first

Just found out that the Escort 1.8 115ps is the same as the 1.8 Mondeo?!

Could the 130ps escort one be the same of the 2.0 mondeo?

Thats a RS1800 one.
I used it on my car when it wasn't putting enough fuel in to use the 2.0 tb.
