Re: heres photos of my car as asked by many of you
there you go! now whats the problem with that!
it looks smart as it is exterior wise:
morettes - yes
spoiler - yes
bumpers/kit - yes
AMBERS - OH GOD YES
to rephrase what ive said. why put a scooby scoop when it doesnt need one, i think the overall look of the car now is bang on. it doesnt need it to be a boyracer car because it looks sound as it is.
you do really need to downsize the exhaust though it is a bit big i have a 3.5" one for sale if you pm me - think that would look a bit tidier
if youre gonna do the scoop as well get another bonnet (also have a spare one ) so you can interchange them because i think that coupled with the rst vents (which also do look smart) it'll look a bit busy and ill placed!
f**k all wrong with the petrol flap stick, same again with matts, thats all personal pref. also do love the interior - the frst recaros are such a worthy upgrade.
try and get some other OEM alloys - popular ones are escort gti/rs2000 ones which will look at home on it!
there you go mate - what was the issue to start with again

You told me its a 1.1 the other day!! You sure its not a 1.3?? Lol. I agree with mike on the bonnet, but i have seen rst's with exhausts that big and they are fine!!

think it just has a 1.3 pancake filter on it
also, the lights (two fogs) look good too, i cant see why this even got slated... except for the scoop which i mentioned.

yeah 1.1 but its got 1.3 air box i added that, its got all air restriction of the box removed hence the black bendy pipe going to the cone filter, no filter in the box
its been on for at least 2 years all year round and ruins fine

Oh right!! Lol. Yeah i've just left my engine completely standard, i have decided i cbf with the ohv and if i want more power, i'll either get a 1600 cvh or buy a 2i!!
What is the next plan for it then buddy?? Just post a pic up of the bonnet mate, it don't matter, its a standard mk3 bonnet so no1 can complain as its not like you have ruined a rare item!!

ouch
i cant help but think it will look more natural with a set of clear lights, ive rarely seen ambers along side morrets,a nd personally ive always preferred single lights for the morrets rather than the 2

ahh right thought thats what you meant
to me though i prefer both lights in, i got them for the fact of them being twin head lights
i do like the ones with the air vent in too though

It was a 5 min job. Just split the morettes, get a halfords special 'induction trumpet ' a bit bigger than the inner hole, put some silicone in the front part of the casing(from the back) and then puhs the 'trumpet' in(from the back again). Job jobbed.

Ratspeed :
Thats how i had mine, plus the inner lamps are driving lights anyway, no good as headlamps.
did you have to go and show that?!
to the Fap Cave!
didnt know that about the inner lamp, wouldn't need them on RS bumpers then...

To be fair, the car isn't anywhere near as bad as some of those awful comments that were made. I've see a LOT worse!
