where do i put the power lead from my amp, i no its the battery but how do i get it through my dash to my engine bay/ battery i would appreciate the help now as its my first atempt at wiring an amp i have a mk4 and cant find any way hhhheeeeeeellllllpppppp :-? plz :D

I can't help, no. I don't answer threads with useful stuff when they're in incorrect forums :D

Hint: If you have a wire on one side of something, and it needs to go to something on the other side, it needs to go through it somehow.

look in your engine bay, top right there are a load of wires goin in through a large grommit.

get on your back and look up behind the glove box, you should just be able to see the grommit.

if your not sure get some 1 to wiggle the wires so you can be.

finally make a hole with a sharp blade and feed the wire down through

I've already been a busy boy palming off your information sunshine :P
Took some photos for reference of your handy work too :D
Still running well btw, not touched the gain or bass db switches yet, just waiting for a bit to get it cranked up.

sorry about the repost but i finally got the wire sorted and wired it up :D but its not working :x i saw this and i think this may be the problem i will try it on the radio tommorow,
