hi-spec brakes any good

looking into getting a set of bigger calipers & discs for my frst.As the
standard brakes are crap,any one got them on there car or any one know
if they are any good

Yeah they are, though I have heard the customer service is crap

However mate you own a Ford. there are plenty of cheap brake upgrade available including Focus ST170 front calipers and discs which are 300mm and offer a massive improvement in braking. These will cost you half of a Hi-Spec kit.

single piston

only down side to the st170 gear is the weight.
