Just seems when u get to 70> the car hesitates a bit when accel-ing.

any ideas? or just me and me bog standard small engine ;e

seems fine the rest of the time. apart from when its cold and autochoke is on

u shouldnt get any hersitation at 70+ my old si lump was good for 125 with a bit still left init.

hum , only seems to do it sometimes, tho aint really had it on a good long run up a motorway yet, intend to go up cambridge way this weekend, so ill see [ERRR] its like then

if i was u id give it a service. u can doit urself it aint hard. just change oil filter, oil, plugs and leads and check ur water level and that u have a lot of anti-freeze in there.

just did a rough workin out of my mpg since last fill up, and came up with a figure of 39.5mpg :o

i thought this was pretty damn good for the 1.6, specially as i aint exactly been tryin to drive conservtivly.

maybe its running too lean?

been told about resetin the ecu, reckon that mite help?

i'd check that all your spark plugs are working properly!

my 2i did the same kind of thing before i changed them!
