Hello, does nayone know wether i could and K&N air filter for me 1.1 HCS engined fiesta?
Plus if i got a exhaust is it better to get a WHole thingmy or just the backbox because i plan to get an engine conversion and was wondering if i could keep the uprated exhaust of the old engine and swap it straight to the new engine.

Cheers

Im sure you will get a K&N filter...........

as for exhaust, your better to get the whole thing.............including manifold. That way you will get the full benefit.

yes search!

as for zorst dont waste u money on the hole thing and ull be lucky to find a manifold that u will get anything extra form without paying big money, and the second u change the the engine it will be useless

and uprated engine will need a bigger bore zorst so just go for a back box

stick with backbox for now.

Use Orion 1600 K&N, Part number '56-9042'

Fitting:

Block of the hose that sucks air in (vacuum hose)
Extend the oil filler cap hose and send it to a hole you will drill in the bottom of the K&N, the hole has to be 2mm too small the size of the hose so it will hold it in nice and tight.

Don't just run a breather filter of the filler cap as it will:

leak oil fumes into the engine bay, and you can smell the in the car :|

doing it my way recycles the fumes back into the inlet manfold as it is spose to ;)

any questions, reply or email me :)

I am using the 1600 Orion one on my HCS CFi - K&N told me I shouldn't be as it is not possible... but ah well...

It works fine how I did it above.
