hi guys went out in my fez turbo today and it was fine untill about an hour of driving then randomly it would hold bk for a sec when under throttle can any1 help cheers matthew :-?





p.s im buy in a ready converted zvh btm end of ebay and the add says that my cvh head and gear box will bolt straight on is this true as i have read a couple of threads and some go on about having to modify ur fly wheel is this true thanx again :D

Could be a couple of things....

1) HT leads or sparkplugs breaking down
2) Throttle position sensor may need looking at

The CVH head and Zetec bottom end have different fluid path ways for there is modifications needed.

hey cheers mate ill invest in new leads and plugs then and take it from there also the zvh btm end on ebay say all correct oil ect ways have been blanked of if this is so is it a straight swop let me know asap cheers matthew :D

Do you have a boost gauge? If yes what's the boost doing when the car is holding back

ahhhhhh ill have to check that when im out next but i dont think its the turbo cuz there is no smoke on boost and the engine is std

I wasn't saying your turbo is on it's way out could be your actuator playing up does it have the amal valve?
