Hoses for a T3

Postby rsmcelroy on Mon Jul 11, 2005 4:18 pm

For all the people that have done a T3 conversion!

What Silicon hoses do you need? Do i have to get ERST ones or is it a mixture of the 2?

i need to order them and when i spoke to Burton Power he said "eeeerrrr not too sure mate!"

Cheers all

FRST top hose (because you're still using the FRST charge carrier and intercooler, I presume) and ERST bottom hose (assuming standard intercooler again) :) Bailey Motorsport for ERST hose, and Speed Shack I think I got my FRST top hose from, though Bailey will probably have that too, not sure on price difference between the two places. 50 quid each roughly.

i have an Esc Cos induction kit aswell. Would i need to get a cos pipe for that? I presume the rest of the hoses are FRST ones then?

Well... my T3 conversion..

- Pace intercooler (modded .. top connection is tilted and lengthened)
- Rad moved forward (and intercooler 2)
- PiperX Cossie filter

Pipes and hoses to use.
- ERST bottom hose
- FRST (Bailey/Samco) top hose (with DV) .. but standard will do
- piece of 60mm piping (aluminium) + heavy duty hose clamps
