I agree with chum...but make sure u get at least a 1.4 or even better a 1.6! Cos i have a 1.1 and put a 1.3 lump in it.....and it dont go that much faster! My m8s 1.0i AX keeps up with me!

Stoned :Take out the seats, doors, trim everything basically until you have just one seat, gearstick, wheel and pedals

Push it Anyway whats wrong with a 1.1 still quite nippy can still overtake:
Volvo's (340, 740 in fact most of them except the T4 and T5)
Lada (Anything)
Skoda (Anyhing)
Fiat (Uno, panda, seicento, cinqu etc.....)
Reliant (although don't know if this passes as a car)
and anyhting driven by sunday drivers

make urself a cold air feed from like under the car straight into the airbox- u could also drill it out- u will notice the difference! although it wont scare u

I drilled holes in my airbox....mine is a 1.1 but it has a 1.3 lump...so everything except for the lump is 1.1 It makes a bit more of a grunt wen u floor it....but does jack all for ur performance.
My advice....engine conversion to at least a 1.4! Or even better do wot im planning on doin...Stick with ur granny buggy....and buy and frst in about 2 years!
