Car: 1991 Ford Fiesta RS Turbo
So its mostly done by a mecanic.
I thought it had some thing to do with a switch or something like that.
How would you go about fitting a boost gauge, where do you hook it up to, ive fitted a temp gauge, and volt gauge before.
Does it hook up to the turbo, or has it got to do with air.

there is a nipple (oh errr) on the actuator, using a pressure gauge and pump , pump air into it, and read the dial ,most fiesta get to around 5-6 psi before releaseing air and opeing the wastegate.
i have one which is uprated to 12psi before opening and hence no bleedvalve.
as said adjusting the actuator rod will help ,but is very fiddley on the car, and will only gain possibly another 2 psi.
