running a front mount intercooler slap bang infront of the rad?

and then having the cooling fan on front of the cooler, so it has to blow through the cooler to get air to the radiator
No longer a FRST owner, or even a Fiesta owner :(

It's not, tried and tested route when the GRS first came out, not good.

I'd imagine these close-set radiators give much better laminar flow, but lots of heat soak/transfer between the radiators. Separating them would allow more heat transfer to the air, at the rear of the radiators, but create stagnant air in between to an extend I'd imagine.
