How in the f*ck do you refit the wheel hub?

Postby Fiesta_Classic on Fri Jun 10, 2005 3:23 pm

Just replaced my shoes and found that it's actually not possible to re-fit the b*stard hub. Anyone know how the f*ck you do it? It's really starting to p*ss me off now!

the self adjuster is usually a curved bit of metal with cog like teeth on, that is held against a correspondingly toothed part by a spring.
slide it away from the teeth and move it round so the shoes move in.

Make sure you renew the castle nut and torque it up right or youll have wheel bearing trouble (wearing out or the wheel dropping off)
