Your going to have problems with your lower arms if your going that low. I have to change mine once a year as it is.

if you go lower than -40mm you need to have the front camber checked. The car will start to feel weird on cornering and braking. Not good.

Surely with those kind of massive drops the damping stroke is gonna be so short even with shortened dampers that its gonna ride like a pig, and be bouncing all over the place on the road? :bonkers:

Thats not to say that it doesn't look cool as a show car though :aviator:

Mines a base model buts been dropped using an 80mm kit for an RS1800 so is seriously low, have no problems what so ever with rubbing or had to do any arch work but I running 185/55/14s on 6x14 alloys which are slightly larger in diameter than 195/45/15s but don't have the extra width. Well tell a lie needed to fit an RS Steering Limiter kit as the tyre sidewall was rubbing on the front in arch at full lock, but this would have been a problem with standard suspension for me anyway.

The biggest problem is the centre section of the exhaust dragging along the ground and speedbumps. Lower arms and driveshafts now point 45 degrees upwards (which isn't ideal) and there is a serious negative camber and the tracking takes a while to set up. But handling is spot on and I could go lower still.

Check out the negative camber.....

Not at all as i havent used poly bushes on my suspension, only the ARB's. Okay i get some tramlining, but it handles well :)
